EA Create is a collective of content production teams partnering with EA Studios game teams to deliver outstanding visuals, audio and technology. Our teams consist of artists, engineers, technicians, designers and development directors. The EA Create Capture team partners with development teams to provide motion and performance capture, 3D body and facial scanning, and virtual cinematography tools. We are looking for a Capture Production Manager to join our team of experts at our Burnaby studio.

This is a regular full-time on-site position.

Role overview:

The Capture Production Manager plans and executes motion capture and character scanning productions supporting EA game teams. This role partners with the Studio Manager, Create Project Managers, Capture Production team, vendors, performers, and development partners to deliver recording sessions on time, on budget, and to quality.

Responsibilities:

  • You will report to the Capture Business Director.

  • You will create production plans for motion capture and scanning sessions at the Capture Vancouver studio and offsite locations.

  • You will coordinate schedules, stages, resources, vendors, performers, and production logistics supporting multiple concurrent productions.

  • You will provide on-set production support during recording sessions, helping ensure efficient and high-quality session execution.

  • You will communicate with partners, providing visibility into schedules, risks, budgets, and production status.

  • You will support production forecasting, operational planning, and process improvements across Capture workflows.

  • You will track recording scope metrics, estimates, actuals, and production documentation.

  • You will coordinate daily operational tasks for the Capture Production Assistant.

  • You will identify production risks and help build mitigation plans to maintain production continuity.

  • You will collaborate with Capture craft teams and Studio leadership to support technical and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

  • You have 3+ years professional experience in mocap, live production, virtual production, games, film or TV.

  • You have worked in a production environment managing complex production with tight turnaround timelines and collaborating across teams.

  • You have experience managing vendors, production crews, and operational logistics.

  • You have experience coordinating production schedules, logistics, and cross-functional communication.

  • You have experience balancing changing priorities while maintaining quality and delivery expectations.

  • You have experience using project management systems such as Shotgrid, Monday.com, Asana or Jira.

  • You have experience supporting operational process improvements and production efficiencies.

  • You are collaborative and customer-focused.

Desirable experience:

  • You have knowledge of motion capture, character scanning, or game development production workflows.

  • You have knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile.


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$104,500 - $142,800 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
