The EA campus in Vancouver (located in suburban Burnaby) is home to the EA Canada and Black Box studios. The campus is home to approximately 1,300 employees at an impressive state-of-the-art facility featuring a theater, coffee bars, restaurants, an expansive fitness room, and a full-size soccer field. It is also home to EA's worldwide motion capture studio.

Black Box was created in 2002 when EA acquired Black Box Games. Black Box is best known for the blockbuster racing franchise Need for Speed. One of the top 10 all-time best-selling games in North America, Need for Speed has generated more than $2.5 billion worldwide since its inception more than a decade ago. The Black Box team also developed Skate, a brand new award-winning IP first released in 2007.

EAC develops several of EA's biggest global sports franchises, including FIFA Soccer, NBA LIVE, NHL and Fight Night. In addition, the studio is creating a number of new Intellectual Properties that expand the sports gaming genre, including EA Playground, EA SPORTS Active and Grand Slam Tennis.
