EA's Swedish office is located at Södermalm in the heart of Stockholm and has breathtaking views over Gamla Stan, Skeppsholmen and Saltsjön. The office is home to EA's Nordic Publishing organisation and EA's brilliant industry leading Swedish Studio, DICE. Housing approximately 300 employees in total, the 5,500 m2 office features glass walls throughout and is filled with cool designer furniture from the likes of Phillippe Starck and Kartell. Subtle posters & prints of our games can be found throughout the building and are complemented by an unexpected and innovative mix of coloured interior ranging olive green to orange to black.
EA staff are really spoilt in Sweden and benefit from top class facilities such as a state-of-the-art gym, a fabulous dining room, outside terrace with sea views and a playroom with a pool table, ping-pong table and dart board. As you would expect, Rockband is set up for EA's budding musicians to play and compete, and several other games can be played in one of the many common areas around the office.
It doesn't stop here. Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and Scandinavia's trendsetting cultural centre with its unique selection of galleries, museums, international restaurants and thriving music industry. The city also makes global headlines every year when the Nobel Prizes are awarded. Stockholm is also regarded as one of the world's most attractive places to live. The region successfully combines a unique proximity to both big city excitement and the calm of nature and the archipelago. The world's first national city park is located right in the middle of Stockholm and there are several forests and parks close to the city with fantastic recreational opportunities. The Stockholm archipelago consists of nearly 24,000 islands, islets, and skerries. Some are isolated and uninhabited while others have hotels and restaurants to enjoy.
