In August 2004, the highly acclaimed Criterion Games joined the EA family. Criterion is best known for its groundbreaking Burnout series and developed the following games:
- Burnout on PlayStation 2, Xbox and Game Cube
- Burnout 2: Point of Impact on PlayStation 2 and Xbox
- Burnout 3: Takedown on PlayStation 2 and Xbox
- Burnout: Revenge on PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360
- Burnout Paradise on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
We also developed an acclaimed first-person-shooter - BLACK - for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
Since the release of Burnout Paradise, we've been focused on our most innovative development of the Burnout series, through game-changing downloadable content for Burnout Paradise. This has included additional cars and fan-created paintwork designs, motorcycles and characters, dynamic weather, day / night cycle and gameplay, online game modes and substantial iteration, large-scale iteration of the Burnout Paradise experience and much, much more.
