Quality Designers are specialized in key domains of the QA process. Depending on the domain of specialty will work embedded within the Development organization or on a central/shared group, promote improvement of the QA practice across EA and share knowledge across the organization, have quality from a consumer perspective, strong advocate and influencer in game design and implementation decisions.

What you'll do:           

    Design, nurture and own the Quality strategy for the title, establish the key project metrics and deliver qualitative feedback.

    Collaborate with several teams to Research and integrate effective test practices to improve our title quality.

    Drive discussions from QV perspective through feature planning and design review stages with the development teams and design teams to create strong testing tactics that help deliver a higher quality player experience.

    Highlight relevant project insights, supported through clear data, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies by collaborating with peers or other teams.

    Partner with development teams and design teams on product roadmap, feature readiness and quality targets to proactively create test plans and test cases.

    Oversee optimization efforts by implementing targeted iterative process improvements to maximise efficiency, including using automation opportunities and advocating adoption.

    Mentor QV Analysts and other individual contributors and promote knowledge sharing across the team.

    Enhance quality innovation by collaborating with Quality Engineering data analytics teams and generate detailed reports on testing status and provide valuable insights to the stakeholders.

What you will need to be successful:


    3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, test planning and test execution.

    Experience working on AAA software/game development for multiple platforms.

    Experience working with medium-to-large-scale teams and with external partners.

    Highly proficient is using industry-standard defect and task tracking tools, such as JIRA, DevTrack, TestRail

    Experience with test execution through multiple stages/gates of the product development, final release, and live releases/service cycles.

    Dealt with complexity and scope of the quality verification process, including change management without affecting the quality goals.

    Used tools, tech, automation and data for test efficiency and optimization year over year.

    A passion for games with a player first mentality

    Game development engine tools experience

    Experience working on SIM racing titles and Peripherals 

    Experience working as part of the Development QV
