The FC Audio team is looking for an experienced Audio Artist to enhance our audio development. You'll lead audio projects and ensure a high-quality experience. Expertise in all audio design phases and proficiency in voiceover and game audio implementation will make you an ideal candidate. You will report to the Development Manager and collaborate with Audio leads. If this opportunity excites you, apply to join our team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality audio, focusing on authentic dialogue.
  • Work on audio tasks and content pipelines.
  • Support Speech discipline projects.
  • Implement tasks for user experience.
  • Collaborate with a solution-focused team.
  • Manage imports, sample handling, and updates.
  • Conduct quality control across platforms.
  • Handle source control and build pipelines.
  • Collaborate on prototypes and innovations.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience, 3+ in game audio.
  • Experience with technical audio implementation.
  • Proficient in Wwise, Fmod, Unity, or Unreal.
  • Knowledge of C#, C++, SQL, Python, or Lua.
  • Experience with audio tools and pipelines.
  • Proficient in modern audio equipment and DAWs.
  • Knowledge of PC and console audio hardware.
  • Documentation and data management in Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).

 

Bonus Asset:

  • Knowledge and familiarity with professional sports (mainly football/soccer), teams, leagues

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and after 3 months of service - extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
