Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for a dynamic & experienced marketing leader to drive Battlefield’s go-to-market campaign strategy & execution. As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will sit within Battlefield’s Global Brand Management team as a key market contributor for developing cutting-edge brand strategy and marketing executions for one of EA’s top award-winning franchises.

You will create inspiring and creative marketing strategies & executions for Battlefield games. You will leverage your expertise in product marketing, digital marketing, consumer insights, and brand strategy. You will excel at marrying science and creativity to delight, inform, and persuade customers and partners, working with teams to build the brand. You will excel in a creative environment and enjoy working collaboratively across international teams.

Role to be based in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Player Centric campaigns; drive culturalized and compelling player journeys in line with the Battlefield brand strategy to deliver our commercial targets.  
  • Inspire a Cross-Functional Team of marketers:  Represent a Player First mindset and equip, empower and enable our integrated marketing team with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. 
  • Set Parameters for Success:  Apply player, market and product insights, along with business objectives and strategies, to define the marketing campaign approach, tactics and KPIs.
  • Create the Briefs: Provide key planning, creative and production parameters in the form of creative briefs and channel assignments. Orchestrate and approve channel plans. 
  • Active with Partners: Develop deep and highly impactful partnerships with global brands.
  • Connect Channel Plans with Product and Business Goals:  Equip teams with reasons to believe and align campaign execution with development and business goals.
  • Execute with Excellence: From creative ideas, to the delivery of our vision, we strive for executional excellence and hold ourselves and our partners accountable in our delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Convert learnings into action to drive marketing efficacy, establish and validate hypotheses relative to KPIs and insights to optimize execution.

Qualifications:

  • 5+  years' experience in brand marketing, campaign strategy, and/or product marketing.
  • Project management and coordination across teams and external partners.
  • Excels at working in a matrixed team environment characterized by interdependency.
  • Ability to galvanize and influence teams and stakeholders across disciplines, at all levels.
  • Ability to create successful marketing campaign outcomes based on business goals and strategies.
  • Experience in creative development and agency management.
  • Works at a high pace and excels in execution. 
  • Understanding of evolving consumer engagement and channel opportunities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage and liaise with executive teams.
  • Deep affinity for and/or prior experience working on FPS games.
  • Prior work with first party partners and gaming industry data sources.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $103,200 - $145,600 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
