The Growth Marketing Content Production Team plans, creates, and delivers compelling creative content to empower EA’s brand go-to-market strategies across global channels. Our industry-leading expertise in computer graphics and design, VFX, storytelling and editorial, directing, and producing delivers content that represents and expands our franchise strategies, expands lore and gameplay insight, and brings call-to-action excitement to our fans and players around the world. Our Growth Marketing team is seeking a Cinematic Artist 

As a Cinematic Artist you will work alongside a team of creative artists and editors to help create our world class trailers that we use to market our games. You will have responsibility for shot layout, animation, lighting and rendering to achieve the final creative vision as set forward by your Director. We support all of EA's games and studios, so the work is very varied. You will report to the Craft Manager. 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and complete cinematic scenes and sequences utilising in-engine 3D assets: levels, characters, vehicles, props and VFX.
  • Polish cameras, animations and lighting.
  • Render final sequences in high quality.

Qualifications:

An artist with a proven track-record of delivering multiple successful projects.

Experience creating world class animation or cinematic shots, on time and on brief.

Solution focused with the ability to dive technically deep while still maintaining focus on deadlines

Experience of a similar role within a commercial environment.

Strong 3D skill sets in layout and animation.

Experience with lighting either in-engine or 3D-package. (i.e. UE5, Unity, Frostbite, Maya, Blender, 3DS, etc.)

Experience with Film/TV VFX work or AAA Games Cinematics production

Experience with Real-Time graphics is strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $63,400 - $86,500 CAD

 In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
