EA Create is a collective of content production teams partnering with EA Studios game teams to bring outstanding visuals, audio and technology to life. Our teams consist of artists, engineers, technicians, designers and development directors. Building massive environments, populating them with cars, buildings, roads, trees and props - the EA Create Worlds team has the ultimate goal of creating fun, interactive and exciting worlds for our players to experience.

EA Create Shanghai is looking for a environment artist, reporting to worlds supervisor.


Responsibilities:


- Responsible for making scenes, buildings, vehicles and props for 3D games.

- Responsible for creating top notch CG game art and to ensure the quality bar is met with the ability to take an idea from concept to final.

- Evenly balanced in artistic and technical ability and be able to follow the vision as set forth by the Art Director, the lead and/or the Content Creation Guide.



Requirements:

-Proficiency in multiple tools including 3DMax, Zbrush, Maya, Photoshop, etc.

-Able to adapt to different art styles of projects.

-Detail oriented, patient, careful, organized, also with ability to learn quickly.

-A good team player with good communication skills.

-Passion for game development, positive attitude and able to work creatively.

-Able to read and write in English.



Desirable Skills:

-Strong technical and communication skills

- Strong management and production abilities

- Excellent conceptual, illustration and design skills

- Detail oriented, organized and able to meet project requirements

- Solid understanding of asset management practices

- Good aptitude for problem solving and self-starting with the ability to work with minimal direction

- Expert proficiency in Photoshop and Maya

- Excellent conceptual, illustration and design skills

- Degree in formal traditional art training
