Covet Fashion is seeking a Narrative Writer to join our Live Ops team on a temporary, part-time basis. Reporting to the Head of Content, you will be responsible for generating weekly written content for our game. This creative role involves crafting engaging, aspirational copy to appeal to our adult female audience. 

 

What You’ll be Doing: 

 

  • Develop and edit compelling product feature copy
  • Self-edit, revise, and update content based on feedback
  • Maintain the Covet brand voice while adhering to established guidelines
  • Create in-game messaging, including Fashion Feed updates, inbox messages, pop-ups, and news module texts
  • Participate in regular meetings with our in-house Game Writer

 

Requirements 

  • Proven experience in creative and short form writing
  • Over 5 years of experience in both creative and editorial writing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to adapt and enhance Covet’s voice and style
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant skills and experience
  • Familiarity with the fashion, lifestyle, and mobile gaming industries is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $82,500 - $122,900 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
