As a Release Engineer, you will help establish new policies, improving process and culture to reach better quality. You will be part of the Keep Green team delivering the technology toolchain for DICE game teams. Release Engineers respond to issues from game teams by gathering and

analyzing data from different sources to help identify and fix defects, and implement tools to improve the efficiency of software development and testing to improve the product quality.


The Keep Green team is a team part of the EA DICE TechOps organization. Ensuring build quality requires broad knowledge, ability dig deep into unfamiliar code written in C++, C#, Groovy or Python and use autotest results and source control history.  You will need to understand the full toolchain to produce a game, and of working with other engineering teams to develop parts of the toolchain. You will report to the Keep Green Tech Lead.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor game builds, autotests, stability and performance as a member of the Keep Green team

  • Work closely with the game team to quickly resolve issues

  • Improve internal tools and workflows

  • Playtest and feedback on the next Battlefield title

  • Ask for and constructively take on feedback to develop your skills

  • Work with the team and ask questions!

Requirements 

  • Some experience with coding in C++, C# and/or JavaScript

  • Experience with version control systems like Git or Perforce

  • Interest in games and developing games from a technical perspective

  • Fluent in English since we work with a multinational team

  • Enjoy solving problems in collaboration, and with guidance from, other engineers
