Role

As a part of the Create APAC team, you will be responsible for creating environmental concept designs for seasonal content, supporting the Live updates to Battlefield. This position requires extensive experience, in addition to creating key art for new environments, and you will utilize your skills and creativity to address any challenges that may arise throughout the R&D process. You will work as part of a team of talented artists under the guidance of the Art Director and in collaboration with Game Designer, Development Director, and Environment Art Leads.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop environmental concept art for seasonal updates, including key arts and quick iterations of asset and environmental designs, guided by the established world view, white box models, or specific requirements.
  • Working with producers and development directors to ensure work is delivered on time.
  • Following guidance and feedback from different stakeholders.
  • Showcasing our in-game content in the best light.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of professional game development experience,
  • Highly proficient in using 2d art software such as Photoshop.
  • Highly proficient in at least one 3D software such as blender, maya, etc.
  • A good understanding of the environmental R&D development processes and pipelines
  • A strong understanding of environmental concept design principles, shape language, composition, layout, color, light and shadow, vibe, mood, human/natural environment.
  • Portfolio demonstrating high quality environmental concept art
