Electronic Arts Inc. is a global leader in interactive entertainment. We develop and deliver games, content and online services across platforms. We have a broad portfolio of brands that span the most popular genres.

You will work with an experienced team that has collectively built and worked on games and backend services for more than two decades. You will work with multiple developers and other talented team members to build something truly awesome. Become a foundational part of joining and building a respectful and diverse team, as the Principal Animator for a brand new project.

We're looking for an experienced core gameplay Principal Animator to join us in building a AAA open world action RPG with an emphasis on emergent and genre-spanning gameplay. We are looking for a candidate capable of motion editing, prototyping, who can also produce high-quality hand-keyframe animation.

You will report to the studio head and work as part of the core gameplay team. You'll use prototypes and real-time visualizations to help realize and shape the vision set by peer studio leadership.

 Responsibilities

● You will implement and polish full movement, interaction, and combat sets for a third person

action game.

● Technical Artists/Animators and Engineers will work with you to manage and solve any technical

problems that arise.

● You'll work with the Design team to establish and create animations that align with design

requirements.

● Using Frostbite, you will prototype and implement both movement and combat features.

Requirements

● At least 10+ years of experience working on AAA console games.

● Experience in motion editing and keyframing characters to a very high standard.

● Experience working with designers/engineers to brainstorm ideas to then iterate in-engine.

● Experience with modern combat and movement systems.

We encourage you to apply, even if you don't match every qualification listed above. Let us know why

this role appeals to you, why you will be great, what unique perspectives you'll bring, and which

requirements will challenge you to grow
