This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

 

As a Senior Project Manager you will provide people and project management for the local team within a bigger team distributed across multiple locations. Together, we will manage a series of software testing processes to achieve the highest levels of quality on the product. You will also manage a team of Testers and QV Quality Designers. You will report to the Development Director II in Mobile Quality Verification.

You will align with leadership and representatives of the wider QA team and collaborate laterally to promote best practices and new ideas to ensure goals are met. You will work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

Accomplish the Role:

  • Develop working relationships with immediate team and those outside of the immediate team that have an effect on the completion of the project

  • Communicate with project team and coordinate requirements with external partners

  • Adopt existing methodologies, determine and roll out new ones according to project needs

  • Identify process improvements: evolve and improve project-wide processes under your area of influence

  • Manage the planning, execution and reporting processes of QA testing activities across their project(s)

  • Build and evolve team; identify resourcing needs, provide challenges and developmental opportunities to ensure that all employees reach their potential.

  • Participate in the hiring process

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years Project Management experience

  • 3+ years People Management experience

  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle or testing processes.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

  • Experience using Jira, JaaS, or similar bug or task management systems.
