We are looking for a creative Associate Social Media Manager to join the EA SPORTS FC Integrated Communications Team. You'll work under a hybrid work model with some travel required.


Reporting to the Core Engagement & Streaming Manager, you will manage the EA SPORTS FC esports channels (FC Pro), and create compelling and high-quality content that supports the Social team's work across esports, HD content, Ultimate Team, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with the Core Engagement & Streaming Manager to identify content opportunities around game modes like Ultimate Team and Career, esports (FC Pro), and more to engage the EA SPORTS FC community.

  • You will oversee daily operations for FC Pro’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Twitch.

  • You will maintain the social content calendar aligning with of FC Pro's marketing projects and any other franchise plans.

  • You will help to build the social media strategy for EA SPORTS FC, aligning content creation efforts with strategic goals and campaign timelines.

  • You will develop and produce engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook.

  • You will collaborate with the Social team to understand platform-specific best practices and create content that resonates with the target audience.

  • You will coordinate with external agencies to manage day-to-day social media operations and for major FC Pro events.

  • You will stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates for relevant social media channels, and use this knowledge to improve engagement and reach across different platforms.

  • You will monitor social media performance metrics, such as engagement rates, reach, and follower growth to gain insights and use this data to increase content performance and improve overall social media presence.

  • Capacity to objectively judge creative (excellent copywriting skills & eye for design).

Qualifications:

  • Passion and understanding of gaming, EA SPORTS FC, esports and football.

  • Experience creating social media content across multiple platforms.

  • Creative and visual skills with the ability to produce visually appealing content, including images, videos, and animations.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro or other video editing software is desirable.

  • Knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and platforms that allow you to adapt to the changing social media landscape and implement new strategies.

  • Impeccable project management skills and high degree of comfort managing projects.

  • Major live entertainment event experience is a bonus.

  • A degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field, but not mandatory. Relevant work experience in social media content creation will also be considered.
