Responsibilities:

We are looking for a new member of the team to join us on this wonderful journey and be a part of the next generation of programming talent as a Software Engineer Intern. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a huge racing game within our studios.

 

In addition to benefiting from working alongside other highly talented and experienced software engineers, you will interact with other disciplines such as games designers, artists, and producers. For the intern roles on F1 you’ll join our UIX engineering team, working in mixed discipline groups to deliver amazing new experiences for our players.

Qualifications:

  • You are studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate Bachelor's Degree programme
  • You are available to commence a full-time, 12 month placement in July 2024.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK without the need for visa/relocation support

 

Desired Skills:

  • Strong modern C++ knowledge and good problem solving skills
  • Use of debugging and profiling tools
  • 3D maths and geometry
  • Knowledge of general gameplay or UI related programming
  • Have a good understanding of modern UI techniques (such as MVVM architecture), and up to date with the latest trends and technologies in game UI design and programming
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment , with a mix of remote and local employees
