Studio Operations Lead

 Founded in 2010 by the original creators of the Call of Duty Franchise, Respawn was created with the philosophy that when talented people have creative freedom, they'll make extraordinary games that achieve the unexpected. We are looking for a Studio Operations Lead who will oversee the goal of building a world-class onboarding experience, who share their passion for studio operations, people, and culture. We're picturing someone who is passionate about providing hands-on approach to employee experience and culture with both artistic and an organizational mindset. 

You will report to the Studio Operations Program Manager while taking direction and balancing priorities from multiple partners within the studio operations team.

 

What You'll Do...

  • Lead new hire onboarding
  • Be main POC for IT, TA, and Studio Operations team relating to new hire process and onboarding
  • Support internship activities and yearly launch of program 
  • Collaborate and support execution for diversity and inclusion programs, programming, and virtual and onsite events
  • Support social impact events which may require light travel 
  • Work with vendors related to swag and event planning
  • Manage the studio calendar, schedule meetings and events for team activities
  • Prepare and publish weekly studio newsletter and update employee directory 
  • Help plan and attend virtual and onsite studio events.
  • Coordinate with Production Coordinators and Workplace Experience Team to manage joint projects
  • Prepare studio wide announcements, presentations, and documents including art for websites, special event fliers, and more
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications

  • A successful track record in an administrative/coordinator support function with experience with culture and innovative ways to engage employees
  • Skills in Microsoft and Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Canva is a must - provide samples of past advertising/art you have created
  • Demonstrated creativity in event execution from creating advertising to onsite tasks for events (provide examples of event execution that showcase your ability to collaborate as a team)
  • Work well with change with an emphasis on customer service
  • Go beyond established framework; look for new ideas and creative solutions to overcome challenges
  • Balances the "going-the-extra-mile" enthusiasm with levity
  • Knowledge in Zoom and all its features

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $82,500 - $122,900 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
