We are Frostbite
Frostbite is EA’s proprietary game engine that comes equipped with tons of tools and technologies designed to build incredible games. Our in-house engine offers the unique ability to adapt to each game while working hand-in-hand to prioritize what to build. Our goal is to empower creators all over the world to bring their best ideas to life by creating an engine that amplifies innovation across every discipline.
What does a Technical Art Director for Frostbite Partner Experience do?
As a Technical Art Director for the Frostbite Partner experience team, you will report to Frostbite's Group Technical Art Director and focus on the workflow experience of our game team partners. You will work with game team partners to proactively identify challenges they are having in their usage of the engine, especially content workflows, and advise them on possible improvements. When engine changes are needed for the improvements, you will partner with the Frostbite engineering team to make the improvements happen. The ultimate goal will be to get so close to the game teams that we understand their needs before they do. A hybrid or optionally full time on-site work model is expected to allow collaboration with game team partners. Regular communication across time zones will be needed and some travel is also likely.
