EA is searching for a Recruiter to join our EA Sports Talent Acquisition Team. You will partner with leaders and teams across our EA Sports studios to understand business needs, facilitate full lifecycle recruitment, as well as develop and execute against strong sourcing strategies. You will establish and deepen relationships with assigned studio partners and will build a strong understanding of sourcing and recruitment techniques for assigned disciplines.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Talent Acquisition (EA SPORTS) and will work in our Vancouver studio in a hybrid model. This is a 12 month temporary full time assignment.
What a Recruiter does at EA:
- Full cycle recruitment (Sourcing, screening, interviewing to closing candidates) of Creative/Non-technical passive talent.
- Provide a strong candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding.
- Proactively explore new, creative, and unique ways of sourcing candidates by means of social media, and other online capabilities.
- Search, build, and maintain networks of candidates/sources through LinkedIn and other sites.
- Leverage recruiting metrics to report on progress to the business/stakeholders.
- Understand recruiting metrics and identify bottlenecks in processes.
- Advise and influence hiring leaders on candidate skills, recruiting processes, strategies, and market conditions.
- Understand and apply influencing techniques to help make progress in assigned areas.
- Lead multiple projects from requirements definition through deployment.
- Actively participate and drive diversity initiatives through building strong partnerships, networking, and community engagements.
- Promote EA/EA SPORTS brand by assisting in the development of employer brand initiatives and serve as a brand ambassador for EA/EA SPORTS to expand our presence through social media and other channels.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders including hiring managers, business leaders/HR partners, and team members.
- Provide guidance to internal teams and hiring managers on best recruitment practices, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.
- Create and maintain efficient processes and generate regular reporting on recruiting initiatives to deliver a high level of data integrity.
- Introduce new creative ideas to the team to encourage future growth.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
- Excellent communication skills
- Direct experience working in the high-technology software or entertainment industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in researching, developing, and implementing new candidate sourcing and search methods for both passive and active candidates.
- Capable of managing change and handling deadlines, and able to work well in diverse and globally distributed teams.
- Proven ability to successfully build business relationships with key stakeholders.
- Direct experience leveraging TA Metrics and KPI’s for alignment with key stakeholders
- Strong business acumen
- Passion for inclusivity
- Team player with strong written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel within the United States and Canada
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). - British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $73,200 - $101,700 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and after 3 months of service - extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
