Assistant Content Producer (In-Game Messaging) - EA SPORTS™ FC

Join EA SPORTS FC as an Assistant Content Producer, where you will play a vital role in crafting and delivering engaging in-game messaging to our global player community. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Product Management, Art, and Quality Verification, to create dynamic live content.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scheduling of high volumes of in-game messaging copy, art assets, and content across various teams and deadlines.
  • Utilize internal tools and proprietary software for quality and efficient data entry. 
  • Translate in-game and real-world events into engaging in-game communication, ensuring timely delivery of messaging and art assets.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Campaign Managers, Content Producers, Designers, and other team members to optimize the scheduling and quality of messaging and art assets.
  • Manage messaging content through the quality assurance pipeline, troubleshooting issues and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Develop and document best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and tools for increased efficiency.
  • Stay informed on content, social, and digital trends, within and outside the gaming industry, to innovate and refine content strategies for use in FC.
  • Understand and apply player segmentation techniques to tailor messaging that engages and retains players.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with content management systems, content programming, or ad trafficking tools.
  • Expertise in quality control checks and in-depth troubleshooting.
  • Curious and operationally minded.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex time-sensitive problems.
  • Familiarity with the FC product and a passion for football (soccer) is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with an understanding of A/B testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of programming languages is useful but not required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
