The In-game experience (IGX) group partners with studios across EA to build experiences that allow players to foster deeper connections within our games. The team is currently in need of a Development Director that can partner with the Senior DD in managing cross org workstreams in the NA timezone.
Responsibilities:
Work with a cross functional team to ensure work is accurately tracked and priority is followed.
Build relationships with DD peers across central teams and studios to ensure strong lines of communication.
Manage the support of Studio partners for short and long term needs.
Manage dependencies and outstanding actions across cross organizational work streams.
Partner with DD peers on IGX to ensure different areas of the product are aligned.
Elevate and track work stream risks and concerns to Senior leadership and facilitate steps to mitigation.
Facilitate working groups for future opportunities, partner meetings, prototypes, and investigation.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience within the software/gaming industry in an operational role.
Knowledge of agile development and traditional waterfall methodologies
Experience in managing a team through the early concept phase of development.
Experience in partner management across multiple groups.
Experience with working on a team that is across multiple time zones.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $115,100 - $161,200 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
