Description & Requirements
- Several years of previous product management experience
- 10+ for Directors
- A strong technical background, either via education or work experience (ideally both)
- Must be able to effectively speak with technical leaders around EA, as well as engineering team delivering features
- Proven ability to lead product roadmaps across multiple products/lines
- Ability to define a vision for the product(s) owned that aligns with team and organization goals
- Ability to create feature requirements documentation and translate them into user stories for the team to execute on
- Ability to assess feature complexity to ensure effective measures are in place to validate quality before deploying, and to be able to safely deploy at a small scale before deploying broadly
- Ability to align a product engineering and operations team around the product vision
- Data-driven approach
- Build features that start with the data requirements
- Uses data to help prioritize roadmap
- Uses data to identify performance issues or bottlenecks
- Ability to create dashboards/charts to help self-serve answers to questions that can be obtained from the captured data
- Ability to use data in discussions with customers to demonstrate value of features, or areas for improvement.
- Experience in identifying workflow bottlenecks and providing feature requirements that deliver workflow enhancements, particularly within the SDLC.
- Experience building features/capabilities within a platform/ecosystem
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting, document/email writing, presentation building.
- Present to senior leadership
- Communicate effectively across multiple disciplines (Engineers, Producers, Artists, Managers, etc)
- Collaborate and build alignment across internal teams
- Experience building features that leverage cloud capabilities: self-healing, redundancy, auto-scaling
- Experience establishing product management best practices within their teams
- Experience with hiring and career managing product managers
- Experience working in a game development company - understands the complexity of game development and the direction of the industry to ensure that product roadmaps are aligned to industry trends.
- Alternatively, experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment where they are used to working in smaller, cross-functional teams where they are used to providing high-level direction as well as detailed product and feature requirements.
- Demonstrated experience delivering innovative features
- Financial experience, particularly managing budgets, creating financial plans/models to demonstrate benefits of new or existing features
- Experience with AI/ML
- Experience working in a LiveOps/DevOps model
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

- $185,300 - $278,800 USD
- Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs)
- $180,100 - $237,200 USD
- Illinois (depending on location e.g. Chicago vs Illinois City)
- $172,100 - $230,400 USD
- Minnesota (depending on location e.g. Minneapolis vs Saint Paul)
- $172,100 - $230,400 USD
- Jersey City, NJ
- $217,900 - $278,800 USD
- New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo)
- $172,100 - $278,800 USD
- Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane)
- $172,100 - $271,200 USD
