Role Overview:

 

DCS Audio is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Audio Artist who can make an immediate contribution to our team. You will work closely with audio artists across different EA Sports franchises, focusing on dialog editing for EA Sports titles. As part of the DCS Audio team, you should have a basic understanding of game development and a passion for creating world-class audio experiences. Your expertise will help shape the audio landscape of our games, ensuring that every voice, sound effect, and music cue comes together to create an immersive experience for players.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Create high-quality audio content for video games.
  2. Author small and well-defined audio-related tasks.
  3. Directly support portions of features or tasks within projects.
  4. Conduct quality control reviews of project deliverables.
  5. Handle sound design, speech editing, naming conventions, and file organization.

 

Requirements:

  1. Deep experience in recording, editing, and processing audio using DAWs.
  2. Extensive experience in interactive audio implementation.
  3. Proficiency with modern audio creation equipment, software, and recording techniques.
  4. Good understanding of commentary audio quality standards in video games.
  5. Knowledge of development management tools such as Jira, Perforce, and Confluence.
  6. Team player with a strong desire to both learn and teach.
  7. Strong artistic and creative sensibilities.
  8. Self-motivated individual with a solution-oriented work ethic.
