This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) Engineering at EA ensures game excellence, providing insights into game readiness and player experience through advanced software solutions. We're developing an internal platform (QTP) to enhance tool delivery and support for QVS engineering teams.
The group of teams responsible for QTP are looking for a Technical Director who will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for QTP. Reporting to the Director of QVS Technology Foundations you will lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring delivery of high-quality features.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • You will own the product roadmap for both the QCD (developer interfaces and pipelines) and QIS (infrastructure automation) teams.
    • You will define and manage the platform backlog in alignment with stakeholder needs and technical feasibility.  
    • You will set clear priorities that align with business objectives and platform strategy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • You will act as the primary point of contact between platform engineering teams and platform users (QVS and Studio teams).
    • You will collect and synthesize feedback to inform roadmap decisions.
    • You will align roadmap milestones with broader organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Team Enablement
    • You will work closely with the Platform Architect, Engineering Manager, and Delivery Manager to ensure that the product vision is executed effectively.
    • You will ensure the teams have well-defined, actionable user stories and context for their work.
  • Communication & Reporting
    • You will communicate roadmap progress, trade-offs, and upcoming features to leadership and internal customers.
    • You will track platform adoption, usage metrics, and user satisfaction to inform iterative improvements.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in software product management or a related role.
  • Proven track record of owning product strategy and delivery for complex internal platforms or developer tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and balance priorities across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including backlog management, iteration planning, and stakeholder demos.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Gitlab CI
  • Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Expertise in user journey mapping and UX principles
  • Deep Familiarity with DevX and SDLC processes
