Senior Manager Event Security Operations

Scope of the Position

Reporting to Senior Manager Executive and Event Protective Operations, the Senior Manager of Global Event Security will direct an event security portfolio that supports EA's events worldwide. You will manage onsite security operations, coordinating with security vendors, local law enforcement, and public safety personnel at different venues to support EA events. Your portfolio will oversee security operations for competitive eSports events, internal and external company events, including public-facing events requiring enhanced security measures. Additionally, you will develop and implement standard operating procedures and safety protocols to direct security personnel at EA events globally. This is a Hybrid position, with the ability to work from home 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

•You will manage EA's event security program, directing security operations for large-scale events across the globe.

•You will collaborate with internal and external partners; clients, artists, VIPs, dignitaries to resolve onsite issues and concerns.

•You will manage onsite event operations, working with EA partners to support the successful execution of these events.

•You will manage onsite security vendors. Determine appropriate staffing levels for events and forecast labor costs. Ensure adherence to preapproved budget restrictions.

• Collaborate with the risk and protective intelligence teams to identify threats to events and develop appropriate mitigation protocols.

• You will maintain industry professional relationships with partners, and stay informed about best practices, threat trends, and operating environment

Required Experience

• 7 or more years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military in a similar role as a leader or individual contributor within a multinational corporate security team or in a similar government role

•Experience in managing large diverse teams.

•Proficiency in briefing and advising senior executives, peers, and partners to develop solutions and gain agreement.

•Experience in project management under tight evolving deadlines.

•Management and strategic planning for complex event security programs

•Have and maintain CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft products and providing briefings using these platforms.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or combination of requisite experience and education

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
