The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Creative, Brand Writer to join our EA brand creative team. You will collaborate with a group of creatives, strategists, and project managers and cross-functional partners. You concept, write and craft creative work to tell the story of the EA brand across multiple touchpoints spanning tone of voice, social, digital, events, and both internal and external-facing platforms. The Brand Writer will be a steward for the EA brand and the creative developed by the brand team. You will report to the Creative Director. You will be based in Redwood Shores and work in office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • You will ideate, collaborate, and write for conceptual development and creative execution
  • You will define EA's brand voice across social, brand tone of voice, and all storytelling touchpoints.
  • You will present work to key stakeholders, explaining concepts with energy and enthusiasm
  • You will lead creative concepting and storytelling for social-first content - Stay tapped into gaming culture to inform content and represent players' perspective.
  • You will collaborate with Social Media Managers and Designers to concept ideas to produce quality creative
  • You will work with project managers and creative directors to ensure alignment with important partners.

Requirements:

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a writer in-house or agency.
  • You have understanding of comprehensive brand strategy and brand storytelling.
  • You have experience creating social-first content for an influential brand.
  • You can navigate shifting priorities and feedback with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • You will cultivate a culture of teamwork and collaboration. Champion open idea sharing and being receptive to leadership input
  • You can collaborate well and contribute to a positive work environment
  • You have a passion for gaming and entertainment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $103,200 - $145,600 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
