This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

We are looking for a Development Director to focus on leading and delivering testing strategy and execution, partnering with our teams in India and North America. You will work with our Bogota The Sims 4 QV team and other areas to create evolving solutions to spread throughout our product. You will also promote software & game quality. Together, we will manage a series of software testing processes to achieve the highest levels of quality on the product. You will report to the Development Director II. You will work onsite from the Bogota office.


Responsibilities

  • Proficient in designing and implementing a comprehensive test strategies.

  • Experience defining and balance test scope, estimate effort, manage risk.

  • Integrate emerging technologies, including AI-driven tools and predictive analytics, to improve QV processes and enhance quality outcomes.

  • Awareness of the evolving AI tools and platforms. Assess the potential ROI and risks of adopting AI solutions within the QV domain.

  • Experience using complex data, including insights derived from AI and machine learning, to inform strategic decisions, improve resource allocation, predict quality risks, and improve QV operations.

  • Experience leading QV efforts within Agile/Scrum. including implementing and tailoring Agile testing practices.

  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading teams through important technological and process changes, including AI solutions into established workflows.

  • Expertise in performance management, conflict resolution, promoting a positive work environment, culture of diversity and inclusion, and developing team capabilities to use emerging technologies.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of game or software development QA experience, including 3+ years in a lead/manager role.

  • Experience managing multi-discipline teams and working with remote teams

  • Understanding of software development processes

  • Stakeholder management and communication

  • Experience in leadership roles, including experience coordinating teams.

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and leading innovation in testing processes to enhance efficiency.
