Product Manager, In-Game Experiences (IGX)

Workplace type: Hybrid (Los Angeles, Vancouver, Austin, Orlando)

At our core, Electronic Arts is a game maker that connects hundreds of millions of players worldwide to great games. The In-Game Experiences (IGX) team guides the strategy and implementation of EA's social experiences that benefit the full portfolio. These experiences help players connect to one another and the games they love across social, commerce, cross-play, and integrations with external networks.

Your impact

You will manage social features within EA's central player network. You'll manage the full lifecycle of your features, collaborating across engineering, design, analytics, and partner teams. This is a mid-level role with high visibility, contributing to EA's vision for connected play and offering growth toward senior product leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end social platform features that expand EA's player network.
  • Define problem spaces, author requirements, and lead delivery.
  • Translate team strategy into clear goals, features, and success metrics.
  • Partner with analytics and UXR to validate product decisions through data and experiments.
  • Collaborate with EA game teams to identify scalable, reusable solutions.
  • Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and QA readiness.
  • Share progress, risks, and results with partners at multiple levels.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in product management for gaming, social, or consumer tech.
  • Experience leading end-to-end product development with technical and design teams.
  • Experience making product decisions using data and qualitative insights.
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience building systems that connect and engage users.

Core Skills and Experience

  • Experience with social graphs, friends systems, or network-driven products.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and behavioral data analysis.
  • Experience building cross-platform or live service features.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$117,000 - $179,600 USD
* Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs) *$117,000 - $145,200 USD
* Illinois (depending on location e.g. Chicago vs Illinois City) *$108,900 - $145,200 USD
* Minnesota (depending on location e.g. Minneapolis vs Saint Paul) *$108,900 - $145,200 USD
* Jersey City, NJ *$117,000 - $177,400 USD
* New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo) *$108,900 - $177,400 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$108,900 - $145,200 USD

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
