You will work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).


We are looking for a Lead QA Specialist to join our American Football studio! Our Quality Verification and Standards team is an important part of our development process, delivering applicable insights that support our game teams to optimize software performance and enhance gameplay.


Our Lead QA Specialists help with driving end-to-end quality across an area of a game. You will combine hands-on elements working with game development teams on console games. You will report to the QA Development Director.


Responsibilities

● Issue prevention, detection, containment and reaction.

● Manage overall test strategy for an area of the game around 3 disciplines - the game, Live services, and platform and test planning for each release.

● Conduct investigations into escaped defects to identify and address gaps and risks

● Problem solving and risk assessments with the goal of finding permanent solutions

● Maintain game domain knowledge, understanding genre and platform norms and player expectations

● Plan test strategy and QA tasks using Scrum/agile process together with production teams.

● Partner with QA Management on tracking and reporting progress, project metrics and forecasting.

● Explore use of AI to improve QA efforts.

● Partner with game development teams on product roadmap, feature readiness and quality targets.

● Work with the Quality Engineering team to determine projects use of automation, conduct tools and tech evaluation and improve adoption considering priority and return on investment.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, game design or software development

  • Experience creating end-to-end test strategies

  • An understanding of quality assurance techniques, testing and automation frameworks, and multiple test methodologies.

  • In-depth knowledge of current generation console testing and software development kits
