Who We Are

We are FinOps Practitioners collaborating across teams to deliver insights that improve EA's online services and player experience. We support a multi-billion-dollar ecosystem and diverse departments, tackle challenges from promotions, game launches, and security threats. You will report to the Senior Manager of Cost Optimization within Production, Infrastructure & Engineering (PI&E), where we work as a team to drive efficiency.

Who You Are

  • You are a certified FinOps analyst with strong critical thinking and process improvement skills.

  • You have expertise in multi-cloud environments, especially Azure and GCP, and deep knowledge of cloud pricing structures across compute, storage, networking, and database services—including cost levers like Reserved Instances and CUDs.

  • You tackle complex problems, understand downstream impacts, and excel at making data-driven decisions.

  • You're familiar with FinOps tools (CloudHealth, Stacklet, Apptio, or similar) and excel at building compelling data stories to influence stakeholders.

  • You enjoy collaborating across diverse teams and functions within EA.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with game, service, finance, and technical teams to drive cloud account efficiency and promote FinOps culture.

  • Use FinOps tools to generate actionable insights, track recommendations, and document processes for internal and EA-wide use.

  • Analyze accounts, suggest improvements, and support teams through evaluation and implementation.

  • Provide concierge-level support to teams needing extra context.

  • This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

Your Skills

  • You bring a multifaceted skill set, applying conceptual understanding to new technologies.

  • You're familiar with cloud infrastructure usage and billing (AWS, GCP, Azure), comfortable working in uncharted territory, and skilled at extracting team needs to recommend efficiency improvements.

  • You have experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau), Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and Google productivity software.

  • You can tailor data stories for varied audiences, including senior stakeholders.

  • BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience required, with 4+ years in related roles; FinOps certified practitioner with 1+ year in FinOps.
