What We're Building
Project Air is a new kind of mobile platform — part creative stage, part storytelling tool, part social experience — powered by AI and real-time interaction. Imagine the creative freedom and discovery of TikTok, the emotional texture of Pixar, and the emergent storytelling of the Sims, fused into something entirely new.
We're building a space where people don't just watch or post — they create, perform, and co-invent new characters, stories, and worlds. It's expressive, emotional, and deeply interactive.
The Role
As Community & Content Lead, you’ll be the spark of Project Air’s culture — creating the voice, the content, and the momentum that bring our community to life. You’ll move fluidly between community building and content creation: one day you’re hosting an AMA in Discord, the next you’re editing a TikTok or writing a witty post that goes viral.
This role blends creator energy with community strategy. You’ll be deeply embedded where our users are (TikTok, Discord, IG, Reddit), producing content that feels native to each platform while designing programs that turn early adopters into evangelists. You’ll also partner with Product & Design— and coordinate with agency partners — to amplify what’s working and test new ideas fast.
You’ll report to Project Air’s Head of Product, giving you both visibility and influence as we shape Project Air’s culture and growth from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Be the cultural voice of Project Air on Discord, TikTok, IG, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
- Create daily/weekly content (short-form video, memes, posts, spotlights) that captures Project Air’s voice and resonates with internet culture.
- Design early community programs (closed alphas, ambassadors, creator councils, betas) that build belonging and advocacy.
- Identify and nurture creators & early adopters, collaborating with them on content, features, and events.
- Turn insights into action: listen across community channels, synthesize sentiment, and feed clear insights back to Product and Design.
- Experiment constantly — test content formats, community activations, and engagement mechanics; share learnings and iterate quickly.
- Ship content around product milestones (patch notes, dev diaries, tutorials, updates) that feel fresh and engaging.
- Collaborate with agency partners to align organic community + content efforts with broader campaigns.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in community, social media, or creator-facing roles OR experience leading social, marketing, or growth at a consumer social startup — ideally within AI apps or UGC/social platforms.
- Proven experience both building communities (Discord, TikTok, Reddit, IG) and creating content (video, memes, posts) that moved culture or drove engagement.
- A world-class storyteller: witty, empathetic writing; comfort on camera; fluency in short-form video.
- Deep understanding of internet culture, memes, and trends — you know how to ride them and when to subvert them.
- Scrappy execution chops: you can ideate, shoot, edit, and publish without a big production team.
- Data-aware and experiment-minded: you care about both metrics and vibes.
- Bonus: experience with creator partnerships, live social programming, or generative AI tools.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
