Reporting to the Workplace Experience Manager, the Engagement Lead will curate and execute a diverse range of onsite and hybrid activations, communications, and cultural initiatives that foster a vibrant and inclusive workplace. With a strategic mindset and a high aptitude for event planning, you will lead the charge in creating approximately 2–4 impactful engagements each month for our 2,200+ employees—ranging from large-scale celebrations to intimate moments of connection.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the employee experience through creativity, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to cultivating a workplace where people feel energized, valued, and inspired.

Responsibilities:

As the Engagement Lead, you will be the creative force behind EA Vancouver's employee engagement strategy—designing and delivering experiences that inspire connection, celebrate culture, and elevate the everyday. You'll work independently and collaboratively to bring bold ideas to life, from large-scale activations to intimate moments of engagement.

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of in-person and hybrid employee events, including concept development, logistics, vendor management, contract negotiation, budget tracking, and post-event analysis.

  • Design and maintain an annual engagement calendar with a clear budget and resource plan for each initiative, ensuring a balanced mix of large and small-scale experiences.

  • Continuously innovate how we connect and build community across EA Vancouver by introducing fresh ideas and creative approaches to engagement.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite meetings, multi-day team activations, and studio tours for employees and external guests.

  • Partner with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support inclusive programming and amplify cultural moments across the studio.

  • Ensure excellence in our physical spaces, maintaining standards for meeting rooms, event areas, and public zones to support a welcoming and functional environment.

  • Manage internal communications related to Workplace Experience, including writing and designing emails, Slack messages, newsletters, event notices, FAQs, and invitations.

  • Oversee Slack channels managed by Workplace Experience, ensuring timely responses and engaging content.

  • Coordinate digital and physical signage to support events and workplace initiatives.

  • Maintain relationships with preferred vendors, ensuring quality, reliability, and alignment with EA's brand and values.

  • Collaborate with the EA Vancouver Experience Company Store to integrate engagement opportunities and merchandise into cultural moments.

  • Support the Site Lead in building strong relationships with business units, partners, and stakeholders to align engagement efforts with broader organizational goals.

  • Evolve the Engagement Playbook, refining standards and practices to meet the changing needs of our teams and elevate the onsite experience.

  • Provide operational support to the Site Specialist, contributing to the seamless delivery of Workplace Experience programs and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, communications, event planning, or a related field is preferred—but not required. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in hospitality, with a focus on event planning, food & beverage coordination, and meeting logistics.

  • Experience designing and executing engaging employee experiences, including large-scale events for up to 2,200 participants.

  • Approach challenges with innovative and practical solution, with experience developing unique and memorable engagement initiatives.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster connections across varied teams and stakeholders.

  • Adept at independently navigating tasks, adapting to evolving priorities, and delivering consistent results.

  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools.

  • Graphic design and content creation skills using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and Canva.

  • Communicate ideas clearly through writing and visual formats for internal communications, including newsletters, Slack posts, and event collateral.

  • Solid project management capabilities—able to define goals, establish deliverables, create roadmaps, and execute on time and within budget.

  • Proficient in organizing workload, managing time, and ensuring careful review of work.
