Location: Vancouver, BC
Work Model: Hybrid - 3 days in office per week
Reporting to: Head of Engineering
As our Director of Program Management for Commerce & Identity, you'll drive strategy and execution for complex, high-impact initiatives spanning commerce platforms, payments, player accounts, and identity systems. You'll lead a team of program managers and collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that enable seamless player experiences worldwide. Reporting to the head of engineering, you'll ensure alignment across teams, manage dependencies, and champion program management excellence.
You will:
Lead program execution across Commerce & Identity, ensuring delivery of large-scale initiatives on time, within scope, and with high quality.
Drive alignment between engineering, product, design, and business teams to balance technical feasibility, business goals, and player experience.
Establish and evolve program management practices, tools, and processes to improve visibility, predictability, and delivery effectiveness.
Coach and develop a team of program managers, fostering growth, collaboration, and accountability.
Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and resolve conflicts across multiple global teams.
Influence senior stakeholders by providing clarity, structure, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Champion security, scalability, and compliance in commerce and identity programs, working closely with InfoSec and Legal.
Track and report on success metrics, including delivery efficiency, adoption, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
You bring:
10+ years of program management experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles driving cross-functional programs.
Proven track record delivering complex, global-scale platforms in commerce, payments, identity, or enterprise SaaS.
Experience leading program management teams in a matrixed, global engineering organization.
Strong knowledge of commerce platforms, identity systems, or secure transactional systems.
Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), distributed systems, and modern software development practices.
Curiosity and openness that make you a trusted partner across diverse teams and leaders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
