Crisis Management Manager

Our team of experts in the Global Physical Security & Resilience (GPSR) program ensures the safety of employees, assets, events, and guests through best-in-class prevention, and response.

You will lead a team of professionals in assessing global physical security risks and managing crisis training and response efforts. You will use your understanding of crisis management principles and best practices to prepare for and respond to incidents affecting EA, its sites, and employees. As the Manager for Crisis Management, you will report to the Senior Manager for Global Risk Intelligence & Crisis Management. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role requiring at least three days per week in your assigned local office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Guide EA's crisis management strategy.
  • Manage crisis response and communications and facilitate site leadership decision-making to protect EA employees, sites, and business operations.
  • Develop and audit crisis management playbooks and resources.
  • Lead crisis management training and exercises including tabletop exercises to enhance response strategies.
  • Manage internal and external resources, including full-time employees and contracted services.
  • Set team member expectations, ensure accountability, and guide professional development.
  • Build relationships with business leaders and internal and external industry and government partners.
  • Communicate with a range of senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience within private or public sector crisis management, security, or military, with leadership experience within a multinational corporate security team or a similar government role.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams, including performance management, hiring, training, mentoring, and developing performance plans.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with senior executives, peers, and stakeholders to develop crisis management solutions.
  • Strong grasp of Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) principles and Incident Command System models and applications to the private sector.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering professional products to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree(s) or a combination of requisite experience and education.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$124,100 - $182,800 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$118,700 - $154,100 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
