A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

Web Operations Strategist

We’re hiring a Web Operations Strategist to help maintain and evolve EA Help (help.ea.com) — the web self-service platform for millions of EA players worldwide. The WebOps Strategist applies technical expertise to streamline publishing workflows, connect systems, and deliver accurate, high-quality content across EA’s global sites.

In this role, you’ll own complex web publishing work, troubleshoot CMS issues, and pilot new tools and integrations that improve how teams work. You’ll collaborate with Web Strategy, Content, and Fan Care teams to bring new experiences online and maintain a consistent, high-quality help experience. With strong attention to detail and a passion for clarity, you’ll make sure every update reflects EA’s standards for quality and fan experience.

Responsibilities

  • Publish and update web content in EA’s CMS (Contentful), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and localization readiness.

  • Own publishing operations for high-impact titles and game franchises, ensuring timely, high-quality updates across product pages, campaigns, and lifecycle events.

  • Own complex or technically demanding publishing work in EA’s CMS (Contentful), including configuration, tagging, and troubleshooting of page behavior.

  • Build and QA pages, ensuring that layouts, tags, and configurations are correct, and content displays correctly across devices in all languages.

  • Manage operational queues in tools like JaaS and Airtable—balancing priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth delivery across multiple stakeholders.

  • Pilot new workflows and publishing methods, identifying ways to improve efficiency, consistency, and fan impact.

  • Create and maintain documentation for publishing processes, workflows, and best practices to drive consistency and scalability across the team.

  • Train and mentor Coordinators, providing guidance, feedback, and practical coaching to strengthen operational excellence and self-service impact.

  • Manage and optimize content within EA’s self-service tools, ensuring the right articles, flows, and assets surface for fans at the right time.

  • Champion clarity, usability, and discoverability so our content is effective and accessible.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support projects that enhance the self-service and help experience for players.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in web publishing, digital operations, or content management within large-scale, fast-paced environments.

  • Familiarity with the Contentful content management system (CMS).

  • Ability to translate technical requirements into clear processes and documentation.

  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and publishing pipelines using tools like Airtable, Jira/JaaS, or similar.

  • Experience with SLA management and execution, as well as queue management and productivity tracking

  • Strong understanding of self-service strategy, with the ability to align content placement to fan needs and containment goals.

  • Experience training peers or onboarding new team members to tools and processes.

  • A proactive, organized approach—you take pride in getting the details right.

  • Experience with API-driven integrations, version control systems, or localization management tools.

  • Bonus: Experience with HTML or CSS, metadata, SEO and optimization best practices, or localization workflows.
