Frostbite is EA's proprietary game engine that comes equipped with tonnes of technologies designed to build incredible games. Our in-house engine offers the capacity to evolve for each game while working hand-in-hand to prioritise what to build. Our goal is to empower creators all over the world to bring their best ideas to life by creating an engine that amplifies innovation across every discipline.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Designer to join the Frostbite team.
This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, Canada, and you will report to the Quality Verification Development Manager.
You will contribute to the Quality Verification efforts for Frostbite. This is an opportunity to develop your quality assurance skills and help deliver high-quality experiences and tools to our partners and creators across EA.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate to achieve Frostbite's quality goals and ensure high product standards.
Build and document tests for new features, bug fixes, and release candidates across multiple platforms, reporting and escalating issues to ensure rapid resolution.
Maintain quality standards, documentation, and processes, contributing to knowledge sharing and process improvement plans.
Collect and analyse data to support quality decision-making, while asking for feedback and mentorship for growth.
Requirements:
2+ years of game industry or Quality Assurance experience.
Hands-on experience testing or working with modern game engines (such as Unity, Unreal, Frostbite, or similar).
Experience working with distributed teams.
Familiarity with source control and development tools (e.g., Perforce, Visual Studio).

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
