Description & Requirements
Electronic Arts is seeking a motivated and innovative Software Engineer to develop and extend our CDP Copilot — a unified AI and agentic framework powering use cases across Quality Verification, Localization, and Content Creation.
This platform will accelerate how we design, test, localize, and operate EA’s game experiences, enabling our teams to interact with intelligent copilots that automate workflows, surface insights, and scale creative and operational excellence. You will design and build the foundational systems, APIs, and integrations that bring these copilots to life. You will work across teams to define common architecture, reusable components, and secure, scalable AI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement the core platform including orchestration, prompt routing, memory/state management, data pipelines, and multi-agent frameworks.
Connect copilots to enterprise systems (test management, localization tools, content creation pipelines, and operational data sources).
Build shared APIs, SDKs, and UI components that allow each CDP function (QVS, Loc, Create, Ops) to create domain-specific copilots efficiently.
Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to integrate LLMs, fine-tuned models, and retrieval-augmented pipelines into production-ready systems.
Partner closely with CDP’s tech, operations, and experience design teams to ensure copilots solve real user problems and integrate seamlessly with existing workflows. Collaborate with QA testers and developers to validate tool outputs and refine the generation logic.
Implement best practices for model routing, performance tracing, safety guardrails, and governance.
Prototype and iterate quickly on new interaction models (chat, voice, or multimodal).
Document the tool’s architecture, usage guidelines, and handoff instructions for long-term maintainability.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C# and understanding of AI.
Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or text parsing methods.
Strong system design and architectural thinking, with a focus on reusability and modularity.
Knowledge of software testing principles and QA processes.
Experience with databases and APIs for integrating with third-party systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
Passion for gaming!
What You’ll Gain
Hands-on experience building a real-world system that directly impacts EA’s development teams.
Exposure to both game development pipelines and enterprise and post production workflows.
Mentorship from senior engineers and leaders at Electronic Arts.
A chance to contribute to the next generation of tools that help ship high-quality games loved by millions of players worldwide.
