As Director of Product Management, you shape how millions of players engage with Apex Legends through thoughtful, player-first live service and monetization experiences. Your decisions influence long-term retention, trust, and satisfaction while supporting sustainable franchise growth. You balance business outcomes with gameplay integrity, helping Apex evolve while staying true to what players value most.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy for cosmetics, including skins, personalization features, and cosmetic-driven live service initiatives
  • Define and drive roadmaps for cosmetic content, store experiences, events, and progression systems tied to player expression
  • Partner closely with art, design, production, and brand teams to deliver high-quality, culturally relevant cosmetic offerings
  • Guide cosmetic monetization systems that prioritize player value, clarity, and long-term trust
  • Use player insights, market trends, and performance data to optimize cosmetic offerings, pricing, and release strategies
  • Collaborate with publishing, licensing, and franchise partners to deliver impactful IP collaborations and themed content
  • Identify opportunities to innovate in customization, personalization, and cosmetic engagement systems
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers, setting clear goals, priorities, and success metrics


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including leadership on live service or content-driven products
  • Proven experience owning or contributing to cosmetic, personalization, or digital goods strategies
  • Experience working on F2P or live service games with cosmetic monetization systems
  • Background supporting PC or console titles; mobile experience is a plus
  • Experience partnering with creative teams (art, design, brand) to deliver player-facing content
  • Experience leading teams through roadmap planning and live operations
  • Expertise in cosmetic systems, player expression, and digital goods strategy
  • Strong understanding of player-first monetization and virtual economies
  • Data-informed decision making, including pricing, segmentation, and content performance
  • Creative sensibility paired with product rigor—balancing art, player desire, and business goals
  • People leadership, team development, and product craft mentorship
  • Clear communication and ability to align diverse stakeholders across creative and business functions

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$160,700 - $224,700 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$193,100 - $296,500 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.  
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
