With more opportunity than ever to design, innovate and create new, immersive experiences that bring joy, inclusivity, and connection to fans everywhere, we invite you to join our passionate and dynamic team as we pioneer the future of football fandom.

The Role:

As an Experience Designer on EA SPORTS FC, Platform Tools, you will partner closely with content producers, development directors, game designers, and engineers to create meaningful, high-impact design solutions that support FC’s live service. You will have an opportunity to own the design of the current tools suite while helping shape its future, focusing on reducing friction and increasing efficiency through intuitive workflows and thoughtful tooling. Your work will empower internal teams and content producers across the FC ecosystem to build, operate, and scale long-term experiences.

You will design and deliver end-to-end user journeys, translating user needs into clear, practical design solutions for internal tools. You will help build cohesive platform tooling that acts as a central hub for managing, learning, and growing FC experiences, bringing clarity and consistency to complex operational workflows. You will report to the Senior Director, Experience Design, and will be embedded within the Live Tools team. You will become a champion and steward for the future of tooling at EA SPORTS FC.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in product design with proactive problem-solving skills.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to connect form and function into intuitive and scalable experiences.

  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, Lovable, v0, or similar software.

  • End-to-end systems thinking, with an ability to advocate for holistic and connected user experiences.

  • Insatiable curiosity about product goals from both the company and user perspectives.

  • Mastery of design systems, with experience contributing to an existing system or helping build one from the ground up.

  • Expert-level understanding of information architecture, gestalt principles, and user behaviors and interaction patterns.

  • A positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence design decisions.

  • Strong presentation skills and conviction, ability to clearly rationalize design strategy and decisions to diverse audiences while promoting best-in-class experience design.

  • Comfort working across varying levels of the organization and collaborating with team leaders across the franchise.

  • A genuine enjoyment of collaboration and the exchange of ideas and perspectives.

Nice to have:

  • Passion for games

  • Willingness to learn new front-end tools
