We are seeking a Senior Development Director to lead the execution of the QV Software Quality and Technology strategy for the Battlefield Franchise. You will report to the Head of Software Quality - Battlefield QV and be part of a dynamic team of leaders driving an important strategic pillar for EA. You will support a diverse team focused on ensuring that the quality of Battlefield exceeds players’ expectations. Our team will be integrated partners in the Battlefield product development organization, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality across every Battlefield experience.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of excellence and continuous improvement by highlighting inefficiencies and spearheading initiatives to enhance processes and outputs.

  • Lead the execution of the Software Quality and Technology strategy within Battlefield QV, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met by all teams.

  • Own and drive planning, communication and reporting mechanisms for the QV Software Quality & Technology organization.

  • Lead the execution of objectives across multiple disciplines with focus on value for Battlefield and EA.

  • Own and drive risk identification, analysis, and resolution for high priority goals within the Software Quality & Technology organization.

  • Build trust-based relationships with our partners within QV, Battlefield’s development team and central EA organizations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven experience leading execution and delivery of complex software engineering projects in the space of digital entertainment.

  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills to report product and project status.

  • Proven expertise in directing project execution with geographically distributed teams, adeptly navigating varied time zones and cultural dynamics.

  • Excel at being autonomous in synergy with the team's leadership mindset and expectations.
