We are looking for a talented Associate 2D Artist to join EA Sports and Racing. In this role, you will contribute high-quality graphic and livery content that enhances the visual identity and authenticity of our titles. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to create visually compelling designs that align with real-world references, brand guidelines, and the high standards expected of AAA game development.

The ideal candidate has strong graphic design fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for sport. An interest in Motorsport is a strong advantage. You are comfortable working within established visual styles while also contributing creative and original concepts that elevate the overall player experience.

Here’s what you’ll get to do:

  • Create high-quality 2D graphic assets and liveries for use across in-game content
  • Translate real-world reference and brand styles into accurate and compelling in-game designs
  • Develop original livery concepts that align with the creative direction of the project
  • Apply designs to 3D models, working with UV layouts and textures to ensure high visual fidelity
  • Collaborate closely with Art, Design, and Technical teams to ensure assets are implemented correctly and meet AAA quality standards
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback, maintaining consistency and attention to detail throughout the development process
  • Contribute to documentation and help maintain visual consistency across the product

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Previous experience using 3D software is advantageous, particularly working with UV layouts and texturing of 3D models
  • Ability to accurately replicate real-world reference as well as create original, creative livery concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy
  • Strong visual communication skills
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork

Portfolio requirements:

  • Must include high-quality livery or graphic design work
  • Evidence of working to real-world references or established brand styles
  • Demonstrated creativity and clear iteration of ideas through development stages
