EA Korea Studio

We are EA's game development studio based in Seoul, known for the FIFA Online series, a AAA sports game, and Need for Speed Online and MLB Online. Going beyond localizing global-scale games, we are on our journey to become an all-round game developer and lead a new trend in the gaming industry. Our mission is to inspire the world to Play! EA Korea Studio is a large development organization armed with unparalleled development capability for authentic graphic and diverse content that reflects lifelike football experience. In this organization, Game Designers, Artists, Software Engineers, Development Directors, and Producers work together throughout the entire game development process, from production to live service. EA Korea Studio follows EA's global systematic and documented development process throughout the whole production process, from development planning to game design confirmation, visual direction setting and implementation to QA. At the same time, EA Korea Studio makes improvements based on the feedback from those who participate in the development process by streamlining our processes and pursuing optimization.


  • You will be reporting to the Head of Development (Hybrid work schedule)


Responsibilities

  • You will facilitate agreement across Engineering, QA, Production, and Publishing to ensure build quality and on-time delivery.

  • You will coordinate communication between internal development teams and China publishing/operations partners to ensure successful regional releases and live updates.

  • You will lead China regional release execution across the full lifecycle—including pre-release planning, build scope definition, certification coordination, launch readiness, and post-release stabilization.

  • You will develop structured release schedules and readiness plans tailored to China market requirements, accounting for certification, regulatory review, localization, and operational dependencies.

  • You will identify, assess, escalate, and mitigate release and live service risks throughout the update lifecycle.

  • You will use data and indicator tracking (e.g., velocity trends, burndown charts, defect patterns, incident response metrics) to improve release predictability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in game development, live service operations, project coordination, QA, or technical production

  • Experience working in cross-cultural, global development environments

  • Proficiency with Jira or similar project management tools

  • Fluent in Chinese (written and spoken) – required

  • Business-level proficiency in English

  • Understanding of China market release processes, certification flow, and regulatory considerations
