About the role

Reporting to the Development Director, you will drive quality including bug management and quality initiatives for the Frostbite engineering team you are embedded in. Working alongside QA leaders, you will continuously improve quality practices, share expertise, and advocate for strong quality standards across the engineering organization. This is a hybrid role based in Stockholm.

The Team

Responsibilities:

  • You'll create testing strategies, including authoring comprehensive test cases for our product features, and spot automation opportunities.
  • You'll plan on the testing of new features in close collaboration with the development team.
  • You'll triage Bugs (Are they assigned correctly? Is the bug valid and reproducible?)
  • You'll identify and lead improvements in QA practices, mentor juniors, and spread best practices, not just follow current ones.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other project tracking solutions for managing quality data and reporting.
  • Familiarity with source control and development tools (e.g., Perforce, Visual Studio).
