Help shape the future of one of the world’s largest entertainment brands, EA SPORTS, working across the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and National Hockey League (NHL) and Formula One (F1), franchises. This is bigger than sports, this is an opportunity to drive global culture through an obsessive understanding of human behavior. 

As a Community lead for UFC, NHL and F1, you will drive community strategy and player engagement for our franchises. You will act as the primary liaison between EA SPORTS, creators and the broader fanbase, helping shape communication, improve community sentiment, and ensure player feedback helps to shape future product development. This role requires someone who is both collaborative and an excellent communicator as you represent the voice of the player to internal Studio and Publishing partners. 


We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Community Manager to:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and execution of global community strategies for EA SPORTS' UFC, NHL, F1, working closely with Publishing and Studio partners

  • Serve as the “voice of EA SPORTS” to our communities, creating trust and transparency across digital platforms, forums, and live events

  • Cultivate relationships with key creators and manage Design Councils to collate and present community insights to Studio and Franchise Strategy leaders

  • Monitor social sentiment, community feedback and emerging trends

  • Plan and moderate community activations, including digital campaigns, AMAs and presence at any marketing events

  • Collaborate across internal cross functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and community-first practices

  • Uphold EA’s standards and policies in all community communications and initiatives

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in community management, social media strategy, or communications preferably within gaming or sports

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data-informed community programs that enhance player trust and engagement

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; experience engaging with community feedback and delivering actionable insights

  • Strategic and creative mindset with strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills 

  • Strong knowledge of UFC in particular, or sports entertainment audiences

  • Ability to lead, align and inspire cross-functional collaboration and communicate integrated plans to teams from around the world

  • An ability to interpret and decipher quantitative and qualitative data and distill the insights that best unlock creative marketing platforms.




Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$101,700 - $151,900 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
