Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

EA’s CFO organization is a diverse group of finance disciplines working closely with teams across the company to deliver profitable creativity. Our mission is to partner with the business to enable great player experiences through strong financial insight, planning, and decision support.

Across our finance teams, we combine curiosity, analytical rigor, and collaboration to tell the story behind the numbers - identifying opportunities, understanding risks, and helping teams make smarter decisions.

Role Overview

Lifestyle Entertainment is home to some of EA’s most beloved and creative franchises, including The Sims and Skate - experiences that empower players to build, express, and play their way.

We are looking for a curious, analytical, and collaborative Financial Analyst to join the Lifestyle Entertainment FP&A team. In this role, you will partner closely with our central technology organization and leadership, helping guide R&D investment planning, resource allocation, and financial strategy that supports innovation across the portfolio.

At the same time, you will play a key role in consolidating financial insights across the Lifestyle Entertainment business, working across multiple franchises and teams to understand performance drivers, investment impact, and long-term opportunities.

This position offers a unique vantage point across the full Lifestyle Entertainment portfolio, providing exposure to franchise leadership, finance partners, and central technology teams while contributing to decisions that shape the future of our games.

You will report to the Director, Finance - Lifestyle Entertainment, and will have a hybrid work model defined as 3 days in an EA office

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Lifestyle Entertainment central technology organization and CTO leadership to support R&D resource planning, investment evaluation, and financial forecasting.

  • Consolidate financial information across Lifestyle Entertainment franchises (The Sims, Skate) and central teams, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting.

  • Support planning cycles including annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and month-end close, working with budget owners and finance partners. Prepare materials and insights to support leadership reviews and decision-making discussions.

  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities across the portfolio.

  • As the Lifestyle Entertainment franchises evolve and grow, the role may also gain opportunities to support financial insights and planning for the The Sims portfolio.

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, consulting, investment analysis, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and partnership skills, with the ability to clearly present financial insights and collaborate effectively with finance and business stakeholders

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling and analytical abilities, with the ability to leverage analytical tools and AI to build scalable solutions

  • Familiarity with planning and visualization tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus.
