As Operations Director, you will be a senior member of this team, driving the operational health and success of the department. You will report to the Head of Operations.


You will:

  • Support productization readiness by maintaining visibility into capacity, staffing coverage, and delivery dependencies across short- and mid-term horizons. You will compile and curate the operational data such as capacity models and dependency tracking, that informs readiness assessments and plan decisions made by senior leadership.
  • Manage people and organizational health operations for the team, including maintaining capacity models, supporting hiring and ramp planning, and tracking organizational health indicators. You will translate engagement and people data into clear signals and recommended actions for senior leaders.
  • Support organizational change management for the team. You will develop and execute people readiness and adoption plans, ensuring delivery and people impacts of change are tracked and surfaced through the right operational channels.
  • Execute CI talent strategy in partnership with Head of Operations, PE and TA, you will ensure workforce plans are grounded in realistic capacity, skill mix, and change readiness assumptions aligned to CI delivery needs.
  • Lead financial operations for CI, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking, and spend monitoring. You will maintain financial data integrity and surface risks, variances, and trade-off recommendations to inform senior leadership's investment decisions.
  • Build and present operational reporting, including dashboards, scorecards, and executive-ready materials - that give CI and central leadership clear line of sight into delivery health, people indicators, and financial performance.
  • People manage a team of approximately 4-6 direct reports, supporting their career development and fostering a culture of ownership.


Qualifications


  • 8+ years of experience in operations, portfolio/program management in a technology, tools, or production environment

  • Experience supporting operational direction for a department, with hands-on knowledge of capacity planning, workforce management, and financial processes

  • The ability to compile and interpret operational data and translate it into clear recommendations for senior leaders

  • Experience implementing change management initiatives, including communications planning and adoption tracking

  • Familiarity with people and organizational health frameworks - capacity modeling, engagement data, or workforce transformation


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$160,700 - $224,700 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
