EA Entertainment is looking for an Associate Manager to support social media efforts across a portfolio of our titles.  These include Skate, EA Star Wars, EA Motive's upcoming Iron Man game, and more. Reporting to the Senior Manager and working with Brand and Communications teams, you will help shape channel voice, foster meaningful engagement, and extend the player experience across social platforms.

What You'll Do

Content Planning & Publishing

  • You will support the planning and execution of social media content, informed by campaign and franchise strategies

  • You will contribute to content calendars and approval workflows, including time-sensitive publishing needs

  • You will help manage and engage with social media communities by responding to posts, encouraging discussion, and connecting players with the right teams when needed

  • You will partner with our creative teams to develop engaging, on-brand social content

  • You will capture social-first content at live events, photoshoots, and activations

Community Engagement & Communication

  • You will build relationships with player communities through thoughtful, respectful, and engaging communication

  • You will collaborate with creative partners, player engagement managers, and content creators to produce compelling content

  • You will stay informed on trends and conversations to better connect with diverse player audiences worldwide

Reporting & Insights

  • You will monitor and report on social media performance using tools such as Sprout Social, Affogata, and Level Up

  • You will explore new approaches to measuring social impact and apply insights to improve content and strategy

  • You will analyze competitor activity and industry trends to inform future planning

What We're Looking For


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management or a related area

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to connect with global audiences

  • Experience engaging with online communities in a thoughtful, respectful way

  • Comfort working in evolving environments and navigating ambiguity

  • Ability to prioritize and collaborate across teams with different needs

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a eager to learn

  • Bring fresh ideas while staying aligned with goals, demonstrating creativity

  • Experience with social media publishing or editing tools

Nice to Have


  • Experience with content creation tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, or After Effects

  • Interest in or familiarity with the video game industry and EA titles


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$77,700 - $107,900 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
