Product Market Lead, Shooters China transforms China market signals into decision-grade insight and structured recommendations that improve live service performance.

You will oversee the full Product × Market Pod for shooter games in China, including from signal, validation to studio engagement and learning.

This role reports directly to the Head of Publishing, Shooters China, ensuring that the General Manager, Greater China, grounds all product recommendations commercially and aligns them to country-level commercial performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Shooter Games China Decision Intelligence 

You are accountable for building one view of performance and player response across:

  • Gameplay and mode engagement
  • Retention and cohort shifts
  • Economy performance and monetisation elasticity
  • Live Ops resonance and seasonal pace
  • Community sentiment and creator signals
  • GTM alignment and timing
  • Platform and regulatory constraints
  • 2. Deliver “What / Why / What Next”
  • Convert Measurement movement into structured hypotheses
  • 3. China Content & Cultural Relevance Input
  • You act as the disciplined interpreter of China player behavior.
  • 4. Ecosystem Intelligence
  • You translate competitor learning into concrete experiments and recommendations.
  • 5. Recommendation Craft & Impact Framing
  • Be rooted in a diagnosed driver and align product and GTM implications
  • 6. Forecast Narrative Ownership (China)
  • Own the narrative and market-level assumptions.
  • 7. Structured Governance & Studio Engagement
  • Partner with Franchise as the formal Studio conduit
  • 8. Learning Loop Ownership 
  • Ensure expected impact and assumptions are documented and Translate outcomes into reusable playbooks


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in FPS live service product, publishing, strategy, analytics, or growth
  • Strong understanding of FPS live service economics (retention, monetisation, payer segmentation, LTV)
  • Deep familiarity with China FPS player behaviour and competitive landscape
  • Commercial literacy (ROI, sensitivity, exposure framing)
  • Proactively working in a cross cultural environment
  • Mandarin required; English strongly preferred
  • Active player of FPS / shooter category preferred
