As the developer of The Sims, we create games and experiences for millions of people around the world and are always looking for new ways to inspire our players. Maxis is a place where you can do what you love and help others grow while doing it; a place where your unique voice can be heard and seen. We put creativity and inclusivity at the core of our work and don't settle for seeing the world only as it is, but aim to build a world as it could be.

Qualifications

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree granting program in a related field

  • You are familiar with one or more scripting or programming languages.

  • You can describe what makes a game system good or bad and detail how to improve it.

You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2025

We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2025, slated to graduate no earlier than May 2027. You must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week Co-Op. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
