Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for a dynamic & experienced Director of Global Brand Management, focused on the iconic Battlefield franchise.
As a senior member of the brand team, you will work with franchise leadership in further defining the franchise strategy, product positioning, and live service plans. You will report to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing. This position is based in Los Angeles and will work on a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities include:
Grow the Business, responsible for accelerating growth of our existing business and generating new value:
In partnership with franchise leadership, you will develop and ensure ongoing refinement of a multi-year strategic growth plan across product, category and consumers.
You understand the market opportunity, player needs, motivations, and trends to help inform product & live service roadmaps.
You make data informed decisions that extend from the multi-year strategic plan including, annual content development, partner support plans, and performance metrics
Steward marketing and live service campaigns that create demand, reach, drive action, increase fan engagement, and achieve results
Develop strategies and partnerships that support the needs and wants of the core and the broader gaming community.
Team Leadership, development and management
Lead a team of experienced franchise leaders and marketers towards achieving annual and long-term outcomes
Bring together top-notch talent, partners, and agencies to lead quality content and creative output
Establish a learning culture that empowers ongoing optimization.
Cross-Functional Management
Build relationships with our publishing teams as a main contact for daily product and business needs, with a focus around broadening Battlefield's appeal through important partnerships and licensing opportunities.
New Business Opportunities
As new opportunities arise to improve how we deliver our games and content to players, you will build business cases, partnering with our finance and strategic business insights teams to develop ROI analyses, recommendations and go-forward plans
Be The Product Expert
Understand the player journey and create best-in-class messaging that lives both in-game and out, ensuring that clear & compelling product positioning and important player benefits are represented accurately in the market with a strategic lens towards maximizing comprehension, conversion, and player satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
10+ years' experience in brand management, product management, and product marketing.
Experience hiring, developing, and leading teams.
Project management and coordination across global teams and external partners.
Galvanize and influence teams and partners across departments, at all levels
Create successful marketing campaign outcomes based on our goals and strategies
Experience in creative development and agency management.
Deep understanding of evolving consumer engagement and channel opportunities
Engage and communicate with executive teams
Deep affinity for and prior experience working on video games.
Prior work with first party partners and gaming industry data sources.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
- $170,500 - $259,300 USD
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
